The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to a collision involving a quad bike near Shap. The GNAAS doctor-led trauma team treated a 26-year-old woman for potential arm and leg injuries before she was flown to hospital in Carlisle within 12 minutes. The air ambulance was tasked to the incident at 5.10pm yesterday. .
