Man critical after quad bike accident
The Great North Air Ambulance Service was called to a 48-year-old man who had lost control of his quad bike and fell down a quarry at Ellingham, Northumberland on Sunday at 4pm.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service was called to a 48-year-old man who had lost control of his quad bike and fell down a quarry at Ellingham, Northumberland on Sunday at 4pm.
The man was treated by GNAAS doctor-led trauma team and NEAS before being flown to Newcastle’s RVI in a stable but critical condition. The flight took 17 minutes; a journey that would have taken around 56 minutes by road.
