GNAAS lands in Longbenton after car crash

The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Longbenton, North Tyneside, after a single-vehicle road traffic collision yesterday. 

The 42-year-old driver from Killingworth was treated by the GNAAS aircrew for leg and potential pelvic injuries.

The patient was taken to hospital by road ambulance.
