The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called near Kirkby Stephen at 2.11pm yesterday, where a man in his 70s was suffering from cardiac problems. He was assessed and treated by the GNAAS doctor-led team before being flown to Carlisle’s Cumberland Infirmary within 12 minutes. .
